Dual Ram BOP
The dual ram blowout preventer (dual ram BOP) is a core wellhead pressure control device in oil and gas drilling and completion operations. As a key type of ram blowout preventer (Ram BOP), it adopts two sets of independent ram assemblies—typically configured as either "blind ram + pipe ram" or "pipe ram + shear ram"—to achieve sealed control over the wellhead under different operating conditions. Its safety and applicability are superior to those of single ram blowout preventers.
The LWS type ram blowout preventer features a lightweight design with externally routed hydraulic circuits, facilitating easy maintenance and repair. It is suitable for drilling and workover operations requiring smaller bore sizes and lower working pressures.
